Sofigate, the leading IT management and business technology company in the Nordics, is appointing Matti Rusi Head of Sofigate Sweden. Starting from May 15th 2017, Rusi, previously member of Basware’s executive team, will lead Sofigate’s Swedish business with the objective to accelerate growth.
During the past year, Sofigate has taken strategic steps to become Northern Europe’s leading business technology company. In October 2016, Sofigate acquired Daymark and in February 2017, 3gamma. With Matti Rusi’s appointment, Sofigate aims at strengthening its position in Sweden that is a key market for growth in the Nordics.
Under Matti Rusi’s leadership, Sofigate, Daymark and 3gamma will create a strong presence in Sweden and broaden the scope of services to meet customer needs even better.
Matti Rusi joins Sofigate from Basware Corporation. He was previously SVP, Professional Services and Customer Care at Basware Corporation. During the past years, he has led a large global professional service organisation covering 14 countries and 600 people.

Sofigate anticipates a significant growth in IT management and business technology services demand as digitalisation accelerates.

Sofigate currently employs 400 experts in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and the United Kingdom. Sofigate’s objective is to grow into an international service company with a 100 million-euro turnover and 750 employees by 2020. In 2016, Sofigate’s turnover rose by over a third.
