Janne Rekonen appointed as Managing Director of Sofigate Services Oy

Sofigate Services Oy, which is part of Sofigate Group, has appointed Janne Rekonen as its new Managing Director starting from 1st January 2017. The subsidiary’s long-term Managing Director Jori Kanerva will focus his work on service development and customers in the future.
Sofigate Services Oy was founded in 2008 to run Sofigate’s IT Service Management business. The company focuses on providing service process automation services with the best practices and the most advanced tools available.
Having previously worked as Business Executive at Sofigate, Janne Rekonen is interested to see what the role of Managing Director will entail.
“There’s now a great demand for Service Management because digitalization is requiring us to increase the productivity of specialist work with automated solutions. At Sofigate, we have been developing Service Management for a long time with our industry-leading technology partners ServiceNow and BMC Software. IT Service Management is one of our central service areas when Sofigate grows in the Nordic market”, Janne Rekonen says.
Sami Karkkila will continue in his role as the CEO of Sofigate Group.
