Hanna Lassila-Sramek

My graduate degree is in Digital Technology Management (MBA), which led me to my first true love in the professional world, IT Security. For over 7 years I kept on loving all network devices from switches and routers to firewalls and IPS/IDSs, during which time I obtained CISSP-certification. Then I needed a bit more human interaction, so for the 5 subsequent years, I immersed myself in Service Management and of course ITIL. I had always liked the educational side of my work, and at the Academy, I was allowed to combine the best of both worlds: IT and training. The best feeling ever is when, together with our customers, through hard work and some serious play, we can make a difference in our customers’ lives and organizations. My latest passion is neurosciences and how brain research can help organizations be and work better. Things, such as which factors predict teams’ success in problem-solving better than their intelligence, will be revealed in the academy. My personal life must have been the inspiration behind the TV shows Welcome to Sweden! and Everybody Loves Raymond – I’m not kidding.
