Katri Kolesnik
Coach & Facilitator
I started my career as an interpreter and translator and ended up in IT or – as we call it today – business technology. Despite of many roles I’ve assumed during my 20 + career in IT, there is one common nominator in all of them: I have always been involved in training activities as a trainer/coach, content planner, facilitator or leading the training business. My view is that, instead of pouring the information to anybody’s head – which, I think, is impossible – a trainer’s job is to remove the obstacles for learning, whether that means packaging the topics into human size-chunks, creating an atmosphere that promotes learning, inserting hooks to keep on the trainees’ interest and simply making the learning experience fun and worthwhile. As to my personal life, I try to reserve time to relax by reading, knitting, and walking in the forest with my dog. The last activity, by the way. Is also an excellent way to come up with good ideas for the training courses.
