IT Service Management market in rapid growth – Sofigate is recruiting the best experts

According to Sofigate’s evaluation, the IT Service Management market in the Nordics will double over the next three years. During the first half of 2017 alone, Sofigate’s IT automation business has grown by 75 percent.

The increase in demand for IT service automation, or IT service management, stems from the pressure companies are now facing to automate their expert services and move valuable human resources from routine tasks to productive work.

“The demand for service automation and robotics is growing fast, and the competition for experts is hot right now. The market in the Nordics will double over the next three years. For Sofigate, this is good news: we’ve been building our services with determination since 2008, as the leading partner in the Nordics for the technology leaders ServiceNow and BMC Software”, CEO Sami Karkkila from Sofigate says.

According to Sofigate, the service digitalisation has recently moved to third-generation solutions. Before experts were conducting much heavier routines, but now all the central support services are being automated.

Work available now

The strong increase in demand for service automation can already be seen in tightened competition for the best experts. Sofigate currently employs over 120 IT Service Management experts in Finland and Sweden – and is constantly looking for new recruits. The company currently employs 450 people in total.

“We need to be able to double the amount of our automation and robotic experts in a very short timeframe. We’re willing to hire anyone who’s got the necessary basic ability and the desire to develop themselves to the top of the industry ”, says Janne Rekonen, Managing Director for Sofigate Services.
