Sofigate appoints Mikael Ekman as Country Manager for Sweden
Sofigate has appointed Mikael Ekman as Country Manager for Sweden, effective August 11, 2026. The appointment supports the company’s continued growth in Sweden and strengthens its local leadership as demand for Business Technology and AI-enabled transformation continues to increase.
In his role, Mikael Ekman will lead Sofigate’s Swedish operations and drive the company’s growth by helping customers combine technology, AI, and business transformation to create lasting value. He will focus on strengthening customer and partner relationships, fostering collaboration across the Nordic organisation, and further building Sofigate’s position in Sweden as a trusted partner for business transformation and technology.
Mikael brings extensive experience in commercial leadership, business development, and international growth. Throughout his career, he has successfully led high-performing organisations, driven commercial transformation, and built strong customer relationships across the technology and consulting industry.
Before joining Sofigate, Mikael held senior leadership roles at Orange Business, Nexer Group, Tietoevry, Tieto, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Most recently, he served as Interim Sales Director at Orange Business. At Nexer Group, he was responsible for commercial transformation, international expansion, and a portfolio of eight business areas. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at Tietoevry/Tieto and TCS, focusing on business development and strategic growth in Sweden and internationally.
