Sofigate Announces Partnership with Google Cloud to Accelerate Public Cloud Adoption
Sofigate is entering a partnership with Google Cloud and will build a Google Cloud centre of excellence in the Nordic countries. The aim of the new business area is to combine management of the digital transformation with public cloud services.
According to Gartner’s Worldwide Public Cloud Service Revenue Forecast the public cloud market is estimated to grow at an annual rate of around 17% globally. Demand is also growing rapidly in the Nordic countries, although studies show that the public cloud still accounts for only around 25% of IT budgets.
As well as cost-effectiveness and flexibility, the public cloud provides companies and organisations with the ability to build businesses on a data-driven basis, making decisions, actions and innovations more agile.
The market is also being shaped by the growing popularity of multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud strategies. To succeed in the digital transformation of their business, companies need business technology management expertise as well as technology solutions and know-how.
Sofigate is responding by partnering with Google Cloud. Sofigate’s new public cloud operation will combine public cloud technology with certified experts and clearly defined management models to help customers rapidly restructure their businesses.
