Sofigate strengthens its position as a strategic AI transformation partner for large enterprise customers – new business unit and leadership appointment
Sofigate has brought together two of its transformation-focused business units to create the new Business & Technology Transformation unit, forming the largest centre of expertise in the Nordics dedicated to helping customers drive AI transformation. It brings together Sofigate’s capabilities in operating model renewal, AI adoption and the automation potential of modern technology platforms.
Building stronger capabilities for customers’ AI-led transformation
Business & Technology Transformation business unit strengthens Sofigate’s ability to serve large enterprise customers more comprehensively and support their AI transformation as a strategic partner. The unit supports Sofigate’s ambition to seamlessly combine transformation, modern platforms, and Al to deliver significant business value to customers. It brings together capabilities across design, business platforms, data, transformation and continuous IT operations to help customers lead, run, and grow with Business Technology.
The new business unit strengthens Sofigate’s position as a full-service transformation partner, bringing together broad expertise, including over 300 certified transformation professionals across the Nordics, with the same capabilities also supporting customers in Central Europe.
Berndt Wickholm appointed as Vice President for Business & Technology Transformation
Berndt Wickholm has been appointed as Vice President of the Business & Technology Transformation business unit, effective 1 October 2026. Wickholm brings extensive experience in strategy, business transformation and management consulting across a wide range of industries.
He joins Sofigate from KPMG, where he held senior leadership roles, most recently leading the Strategy Group and KPMG’s Big Corporates segment. Prior to KPMG, he spent over a decade at Synergy Group Europe as Director and Partner.
