Sofigate chosen as supplier of Vantaa’s IT Integration Services in multi-million euro contract
The City of Vantaa has chosen Sofigate as developer and service provider of IT integrator services across a number of IT service areas. Sofigate will deliver the services in partnership with Gofore.
The City of Vantaa invited tenders for the resourcing of its IT administration, and the related management at tactical and operational level. Sofigate, winner of the tender, has cooperated on projects of various sizes with Vantaa’s IT administration and other departments since 2014.

Sofigate will work in close cooperation with Vantaa’s strategic IT administration and other departments. This involves taking charge of IT management at tactical and operational level, as well as managing service providers. Through the partnership, Vantaa is seeking effective solutions, practical operating models and innovations which help the city to streamline its activities, improve the customer experience of its current services, and build new digital services that benefit city residents. The contract also covers IT management services in Vantaa’s social and health care sector.
Digitalisation expert Gofore will partner with Sofigate’s in delivering the services for Vantaa.
The five-year contract is worth EUR 28 million, excluding IT management services for the social and health care sector.
