Sofigate’s ServiceNow Connector for UiPath Among First Solutions in UiPath’s New Marketplace
Sofigate’s solution helps UiPath’s customers to automate their processes and reduce implementation and maintenance costs.
Sofigate, the leader of IT Management in the Nordics and the pioneer of Business Technology management in Northern Europe, today released its ServiceNow Connector for UiPath on UiPath’s new Marketplace. UiPath is the leading enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software company.
Sofigate’s ServiceNow Connector for UiPath helps customers to integrate ServiceNow, a SaaS-based Service Management platform with UiPath’s automation platform efficiently. The solution allows ServiceNow users to kick-start their automation journey with ready-made robotic activities that utilize processes and data stored in ServiceNow, and enhance these with capabilities of intelligent automation.
“Right now, there is still a huge gap between Enterprise Service Management and Intelligent Automation,” said Jussi Vuokko, owner of Automation and Robotics business at Sofigate. “Many processes in this field are still manual or require human intervention. To help automate these processes, we wanted to enable our clients with an easy solution that can be used without expert knowledge. As a leading ServiceNow and UiPath partner in Northern Europe, it was natural for us to build a solution to integrate these two products.”
The new solution can help decrease implementation and maintenance costs at minimum 50%. Running speed of the processes is normally at least four times faster compared to traditional User Interface-based implementation.
Sofigate has already been using the new solution in its customer implementations and has found out that it can help decrease implementation and maintenance costs at minimum 50%. Running speed of the processes is normally at least four times faster compared to traditional User Interface-based implementation. For example, Sofigate’s own Service Integration Center, which automates its clients’ Service Integration and Management processes, is leveraging the ServiceNow Connector for UiPath in its operations.
“There are lot of manual processes and activities in Service Management that can be automated to increase operational efficiency. Processes which we have automated in our client operations include Configuration Management Database maintenance, Charge Advisory Board facilitation and Major Incidents management. Automating these processes has increased their efficiency significantly,” said Pavel Haimi, director of the Service Integration Center at Sofigate.
