The Business Technology Forum is a not-for-profit, professional organisation operating according to the platform economy model. It maintains, develops, and provides an open-source framework called the Business Technology Standard. It is free to use and consists of best practices, models, and tools to plan, build and run information technology. The BT Forum also organises events and conferences, publishes educational materials, and offers training courses to advance the business technology management profession and a fair digital economy for all.
Coordinator / Intern, Business Technology Forum
As a Coordinator / Intern in the Business Technology Forum team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery and development of our training courses and stakeholder engagement activities. You will be the first point of contact for customers and students, ensuring smooth communication and efficient course administration.
Principal Tasks:
- Administrator of the learning management system (Howspace) including data updates, report generation and student administration
- Serve as the first customer contact point for Business Technology Standard (BTS) training courses and manage communication with students for all courses
- Help to maintain and update course content with various AI applications and tools
- Support in building the AI agents for the training courses
- Testing and documentation
Digital Tools & Applications Used:
Howspace, Lyyti, Salesforce, Standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft 365 suite) and selected AI tools
Additional Tasks Based on Interest and Skills:
- Organise, manage and moderate webinars
- Support newsletter creation and distribution
- Support the use and integration of a new marketing tool
- Participate in social media activities
What do we expect from you?
We’re looking for a student who is proactive, organised, and eager to learn. Ideally, you are studying IT, Business, or a related field and are in your third year of studies.
You don’t need to be an expert yet, but you should feel comfortable with digital tools, managing tasks independently, and communicating clearly. An interest in areas like learning platforms, AI, or digital communications is a definite advantage. Since we use AI in many parts of our daily work — including building role-based bots and agents, creating content, and improving digital services — curiosity about AI and a willingness to experiment will be especially useful. Above all, we value a positive attitude and a desire to grow in a real working environment.
Languages:
The working language in our company is English, so you should feel confident communicating and writing in English. Finnish or other language skills are a bonus but not required.
