Sofigate UK strengthens UK operations with top tier Director Peter Truman

Sofigate, previously 3gamma, a leading provider of people, practices and tools for digitalisation and transformation, is strengthening its operations in the United Kingdom securing Peter Truman as a new Director. Peter will help to drive growth and further market success for Sofigate in the UK – listed as one of the top 1,000 organisations to inspire Europe by the Financial Times – building on successful career within technology.

Peter joins having held the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) with British high street retailer, Wilko and will bring with him to Sofigate powerful technology and digital strategy, large scale enterprise architecture, organisational and governance experience. Peter has also held previous roles within Capgemini, Ideagen Software and Sema Group.

Sofigate’s recent merger with 3gamma will create a leading IT management organisation with operations across 5 countries with Sami Karkkila, CEO of Sofigate commenting on Peter’s appointment, “In order to achieve the effective and progressive management of IT and in leading digitalisation, organisations typically need to undergo profound changes – if they do not, they will miss major opportunities.
