Sofigate launches Business Technology Academy in Sweden
Starting with the new Business Technology Leaders programme, Sofigate is now widening its product portfolio by providing leading-edge Business Technology Academy courses for the Swedish market.
Since its beginning in 2010, Business Technology Academy has held more than 200 courses for over 400 different companies with nearly 2500 unique participants. It offers a wide range of courses, from open courses to tailor-made programmes, developed to meet the specific customer needs. Courses can be either stand-alone, or built to support major business transformation programmes.

Business Technology Academy will offer both tailored and open training programmes in Sweden. The next open programme, called the Business Technology Leaders, is a 4-day programme held Stockholm area starting in November 2018. The objective of the course is to get a practical view on how to lead successfully development of new digital solutions all the way from idea to a service. During the course, the participants get to solve a real-life challenge for Stora Enso, presented by the Stora Enso CDO, Samuli Savo. The course is designed for both business and IT professionals who are responsible for managing the digital initiatives in their company. After the course, the participants will be able to:
- Lead the digital development in their organisation
- Design digital strategy and roadmaps
- Design an operating model to support the fast development of digital solutions
- Identify the potential competitive advantages to be gained from digitalisation and find innovative ways for realising them
- Take use of best practices for developing new digital solutions
