People & Culture Lead

We’re now looking for a people- and business-oriented People & Culture Lead to join our team of 800 business technology transformation professionals and to be part of a skilled and humorous People & Culture team. As a People & Culture Lead, you will support and lead one of our Business Stream and its 180 employees with a wide range of people & culture task, such as:
- Leading people and culture initiatives with a strong focus on employee engagement and wellbeing.
- Sparring and coaching Business Leads and Team Leads in various people-related matters.
- Supporting the Stream leadership team in organizational planning and change management.
- Handling recruitment at strategic and operational levels (together with Talent Acquisition colleagues).
- Managing employment-related matters in a way that aligns with Sofigate values, ethics, and ensures legal compliance.
- Developing and implementing People & Culture processes, and policies in alignment with our business objectives together with the P&C Team
- Being an integrated part of Stream Leadership team and Sofigate’s People & Culture team, working in cooperation with colleagues across the Nordics to develop, improve, and implement people & culture processes.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who understands the business objectives and, at the same time, supports the business with a strong people focus and a proven ability to build trust. We value experience, but more importantly we value the right attitude.
To sum it up, you’ll benefit from the following skills:
- A proven work experience of 3+ years as a People & Culture Lead / HR Business Partner (or similar role). Experience in the IT/ consultancy sector would be a plus.
- Experience working in recruitment at strategic and operational levels.
- Fluent communication skills in Finnish and in English.
- Ability and willingness to work from both strategic and operational points of view.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, listening and dialogue skills.
- Good understanding of Finnish labor law, and experience from successfully handling various of employee related situations and matters.
- Performing to a large audience in an engaging and convincing way.
- Proactive and collaborative way of working.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and complex environment.
The role is a parental leave substitute until autumn 2025. Our preferred start date is during June 2024 or early August at the latest. The workplace is located in our headquarter in Espoo (we are moving to Ruoholahti, Helsinki in early autumn) and we have hybrid way of working.
