Sofigate strengthens its Salesforce business by acquiring Xceed Technology
As part of its growth strategy, Sofigate has acquired Xceed Technology AB, a Swedish company with strong expertise in Salesforce.
Sofigate is the leading Business Technology company in the Nordic region and Xceed Technology is a fast-growing implementation partner for Salesforce expertise and services. The acquisition provides both companies a great opportunity to serve customers in Northern Europe even better. According to the agreement, Xceed is a fully owned subsidiary of Sofigate, but will initially continue operating under its own brand.
“We have for some time been scanning the market for suitable Salesforce players as part of executing our growth strategy in Northern Europe. Xceed and its strategic nearshore partner in Poland jointly form an experienced team of 30 people and is a perfect match for Sofigate and strengthens Sofigate’s Salesforce business remarkably. Together, we have a strong aim to become the most wanted and insightful partner for Salesforce and our customers in the Nordics. I am confident that we will achieve this by utilizing our large customer-base, business technology identity and unique human centric business technology design method,” says Sami Karkkila, CEO of Sofigate.
“The strategic and cultural fit of both companies is great and we see the merger as a true win-win. Xceed benefits from Sofigate’s business technology operating model and strong transformation and platform expertise. For Xceed employees, the merger also offers better professional training and growth opportunities and a strong people-centric culture,” says Fredrik Kangas, CEO of Xceed.
Sofigate’s goal is to become the leading transformative Salesforce operator in Northern Europe. By 2025, the company targets a revenue of EUR 500 million and the Salesforce business is estimated to bring 10% of the revenue, employ over 250 Salesforce professionals and serve over 100 customers.
